# FAQQuote checklist
Below is a checklist of information to prepare send to us, the details assist us to prepare an accurate quotation:
Site address of the project and wind load (if known)
Read more about wind loads and site ratings
Energy Efficiency Report (EER) for the project (if available)
Read more about why is an EER required
Bush Fire Report (if applicable)
Read more about BAL Ratings
Frame colour and tone of glass e.g. clear or grey etc
For bathrooms/WC: our default obscure glass is translucent laminate
Images or links to window and door styles that interest you
List any priority design features or other project requirements
The reason that we request the Energy Report is because there is such a wide variation in pricing when considering energy-efficient glass as well as thermal-break products, that there would be little benefit to providing a quotation (e.g. for a builder's tender) based on glass and frame series which will not comply.
Giving an estimate too early in a project, when product configurations and sizes are still up in the air, can significantly throw off your costings. This is because changes to those elements can drastically alter the area and thickness of glass needed, which in turn, drives up the price considerably.
Ultimately, we are responsible for supplying products that comply with the State-mandated regulations.
